Hugo Meyer Kino Plasmat 2″ f1.5, converted to M 433661
This Hugo Meyer 50mm f1.5 Kino Plasmat lens, #433661, is in good condition with nice optics. The lens was originally a cine lens, made in the early part of the 20th century. This is considered by many, to be a “grail” lens and produces a very unique swirl bokeh. The lens is uncoated, so contrast is lower with some flare, giving this lens a beautiful character. I have owned this lens for quite a long time. It has been professionally converted to non coupled Leica M mount, by S.K. Grimes. It works well on M bodies with an EVF. I have used it mostly on my SL and SL2s. This is really a wonderful lens to experience.
