Built to cover all the needed focal lengths for wide angle photography the Leica Tri-Elmar-M 16-18-21 ASPH is the most versatile wide angle lens for the Leica M. Even at the widest point of 16mm the Tri-Elmar exhibits minimal distortion.
The Tri-Elmar is designed to focus internally and shift focal lengths with easy via a ring on the barrel of the lens. The ultra compact design features two aspherical elements removing aberrations and creating an ultra crisp, and detailed image. The Tri-Elmar also has an extremely close focusing distance of 0.33m making it easy to gain dramatic perspective and shallow depth of field.
